LocaLoop and Runcom Unlock Affordable 4G Broadband Internet for Rural Markets

LocaLoop, Inc. announces availability of the broadband industry's first turn-key 4G solution specifically designed to deliver affordable industry-standard mobile and fixed broadband Internet service to rural and remote users.

In collaboration with Israeli-based Runcom (News - Alert) Technologies, Ltd., LocaLoop developed the solution based on its patented cloud technology platform, LocaLoopNet™ and Runcom's leading-edge standard 4G hardware products. The two companies are introducing the solution at 4G World in Chicago October 24-27, (Booth Number 1334).

Conventional wisdom has long held that delivering mobile broadband Internet outside of dense population areas is too costly to implement and deliver, which is no longer true. LocaLoop's patented cloud based platform leapfrogs the leacy on-premises OSS/BSS systems incumbent wireless carriers typically use today for a fraction of the cost and eliminates the need for a local NOC (News - Alert).

LocaLoop and Runcom developed this 4G solution as a result of the global Strategic Marketing and Technology Agreement the two companies announced last March.
