Antenova announces sub-USD3 offering of GPS RADIONOVA SS3 Receiver ModuleOct 11, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Integrated antenna and RF solutions company Antenova Ltd announced on Tuesday a special sub-USD3 price offering of its GPS RADIONOVA SS3 Receiver Module, a GPS receiver including SiRFstarIII GPS IC and all front-end RF components in a small low profile single package module. According to the company, the SS3 GPS Receiver Module is suitable for device manufacturers looking for a low-cost, complete drop-in solution for a range of embedded applications including USB dongles, personal trackers, automatic vehicle locators, vehicle black boxes, data loggers, media tablets and portable media players. SS3 is an 18.4 x 9 x 2.3 mm single package GPS receiver module suitable for SMT mounting. It operates on a single 3.6V positive bias supply with low power consumption and available low power modes.
