"We couldn't be more excited about leveraging the PAC social media platform to help us achieve our social media vision," said Jena Hoffman, president and CEO of Intix, in a release. "This powerful system will enable us to socially engage and educate the ticketing community, continue discussions beyond the annual conference, and connect ticketing professionals with peers, programs and services." "The platform is a very powerful tool to share best practices among ticketing professionals," said Matt Kautz, director of social media and consumer marketing at Paciolan. "For example, clients have leveraged Fan Gated content to increase their Facebook fan database by over 200,000 likes in a single season. Venues also enjoy the ability to sell tickets through Facebook exclusive presales, schedule posts, and manage and monitor content through the platform." "As a long-time supporter of this fantastic organization, we're extremely pleased to offer the use of our PAC Social Media platform to Intix," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We think the combination of our expertise in Social media, combined with the breadth of knowledge within the Intix community, will create a high value social experience for ticketing professionals and members alike." Through this partnership, ticketing professionals will connect, share ideas, and interact with Intix and their members on Facebook. The social media solution is now live on the Intix Facebook page featuring customized Get Involved and Learn More tabs. The Get Involved tab includes information about upcoming events, community awards, and exclusive information for Intix members. The Learn More tab features several tools, including the ability to ask Intix members questions about best practices and share answers virally through Facebook. One of the many features of the PAC Social Media platform is the ability to Fan Gate content that requires ticketing professionals to Like the Intix Facebook page to gain access to content and special offers. This feature will help grow the Intix Facebook page community, while providing fans of the page exclusive access to community insights, content and trends in ticketing. To launch the program, Intix is offering a sweepstakes to Like the page and be entered to win a free registration to the 2012 annual conference. A team of Intix members, including Tammy Enright of the Washington Nationals, Amy Constantine Kline of MCG Jazz in Pittsburgh, Jules Butler of Paciolan, and Tiffany Kelham of Intix, will join Hoffman and Kautz to execute social media strategies. This team will frequently update the Intix Facebook page through drag and drop sapplets that will refresh content to feature upcoming events, industry forums, and insightful tips in the ticketing industry.
