UNITED STATES : Siemens Energy gets new deal from Bluewater Industries [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Siemens Energy obtained a multiple deal from Bluewater Industries Inc., leading general marine contractor engaged in turnkey field development projects.

As per this deal, Siemens Energy will provide integrated mechanical and electrical solutions to ATP Oil & Gas Corp.

Siemens Energy will deploy gensets, compression, E-house, power distribution system, ICSS, telecoms and produced water treatment skids and modules on ATP Oil & Gas owned Moss Maritime developed Octabuoy semi-submersible production platform. It will function in Cheviot field in UK North Sea. The project includes design needs for operation in UK North Sea and in US Gulf of Mexico. The vessel is expected to be ABS marine classed. Siemens will provide two SGT-300 gas-turbine-driven gensets, two SGT-200 gas-turbine-driven tandem STC-SV compressors and an E-house (Electrical building).

Siemens will also provide a power distribution system with medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchgear, variable frequency drives (Perfect Harmony), UPS besides automation and telecom systems. The water treatment systems from Siemens will employ hydro-cyclone and gas floatation technology. Siemens will manage all interface engineering between all supplied equipment and modules / skids. Siemens topsides skids and modules will be deployed on floating production and drilling facility at ATP's Cheviot field (blocks 2/10b, 2/15a and 3/1) in British North Sea. ATP completely owns Cheviot field and is the operator of this project.
