Swisscom to offer Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1Sep 20, 2011 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Swisscom has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is available with the NATEL data flat subscription for CHF449, or for CHF799 without a subscription. The Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is 8.6 millimeters thick, has a 10.1-inch screen, runs Honeycomb (the latest Android version), and comes with a dual-core processor and two cameras. It also supports HSPA+ mobile technology which ensures lightning-fast transmission speeds for wireless web browsing. The tablet is equipped with Polaris Office, which allows users to read and edit different file types, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, making it the ideal solution for working while on the move. The 10.1-inch high-resolution screen displays content with pin-sharp quality, the company said. The Samsung Galaxy Tab comes with a 3 megapixel camera including LED flash on the back. The front features a 2 megapixel camera that enables videoconferences to be easily set up.
