Bilbrough was also President and Chief Executive Officer of Illinois-based Juno Lighting, a NASDAQ-listed manufacturer and marketer of commercial and residential lighting fixtures, and held senior management positions at Thomas & Betts Corporation and Black & Decker (News - Alert).

"LED replacement bulbs are positioned to revolutionize the global lighting industry," said Bilbrough, "and Switch is pioneering bulbs that set new standards for design, light quality, and efficiency. It's a very exciting time to be joining the company."

Switch has generated significant consumer and commercial demand by being the first manufacturer to announce a family of bulbs-with 40, 60, 75 and 100-watt equivalent LED light bulbs-that serve as drop-in replacements for conventional A19 incandescent bulbs. Switch bulbs utilize a unique cooling technology to produce warm, incandescent quality light, yet consume a fraction of the energy used by incandescent bulbs. They are also the first LED bulbs to be image conscious with an aesthetically pleasing deign.

"With the addition of Tracy Bilbrough as CEO, Switch is uniquely positioned in the world-wide lighting market," said Alan Salzman, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of VantagePoint Capital Partners, Switch's principal shareholder. "Not only does Switch have unique, cutting-edge LED technology, but the addition of Tracy completes a management team that has world-class expertise in design, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and distribution."

Bilbrough holds an MBA from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelors degree in economics from Loyola University Maryland.
