PlumChoice to Demo SAFElink Anti-Theft Service with Intel Anti-Theft Technology at Upcoming Developers ForumSep 12, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- PlumChoice announced it will demonstrate its enhanced SAFElink Anti-Theft service with Intel Anti-Theft Technology (Intel AT) at the upcoming Intel Developer Forum. According to a release, the Intel Developer Forum takes place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California from September 13 to September 15. As one of SAFElink's security services, the SAFElink Anti-Theft Service protects the valuable data stored on a subscriber's laptop or notebook against theft or loss. The SAFElink Anti-Theft application locks down a device when theft trigger events such as multiple login failures, anti-theft server check in failure, and poison pill delivery from the server occur. Adding support for Intel AT enables the PlumChoice SAFElink Anti-Theft Service to also lock down a device if the hardware is tampered with. Transparent to the subscriber at installation this capability strengthens the security of the subscriber's data. The PlumChoice SAFElink Anti-Theft service with Intel Anti-Theft Technology is built on the PlumChoice patented SAFElink platform and can be combined with other PlumChoice services.
