"Belarus attaches great importance to full cooperation with Turkmenistan," Malumov said adding that his country sees Ashgabat as a good friend and very reliable partner.

Berdimuhammedov said "Turkmenistan is also interested in expanding the fruitful Turkmen-Belarusian cooperation that originally built on an equitable, long-term basis and that has an impressive potential." The sides exchanged views on the priority aspects of the intergovernmental partnership that has "the most favorable conditions to further enhance the productive contacts along their entire spectrum- from the trade and economic sphere to the humanitarian and cultural areas." The meeting named the interaction on supply of modern Belarusian agricultural equipment for Turkmenistan's agricultural industry, and a joint project to build the largest industrial enterprises -- mining and processing complex for the production of potash fertilizer in Lebap (region), as examples of the successful collaboration.
