[September 09, 2011] BRIEF: New features added to Advertiser mobile site Tweet Sep 09, 2011 (Montgomery Advertiser - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Heading into the weekend, I wanted to make sure our readers know of some features we have added to our mobile site, m.montgomeryadvertiser.com. First, and probably best, is a new "Scores and Schedules" widget, featuring results from NFL, NCAA FB, MLB, NBA, NCAA BB, NHL and MLS. Each morning the homepage widget will show scores from the previous night's games, with a link to see scores from every sports league that was in action. You can also check the scores page to see the status of games in progress. There's nothing on NASCAR, but I wouldn't be surprised if racing results show up for next season. We also restructured the page to put weather at the top for easy access; added a link to stories from the Business section; added a Photo widget that will display as many as 10 of our local photo galleries at a time; and added a video widget that will show the three most recent videos we've produced.
