ADLINK adopts Dialog's DA6011 companion IC for the Intel Atom processor E6xx series

Aug 29, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Provider of wireless technologies Dialog Semiconductor plc (FWB: DLG), announced on Monday that its DA6011 companion IC for the Intel Atom processor E6xx series has been adopted by Taiwan-based ADLINK Technology for the nanoX-TC, its mini size COM Express type 10 module.

According to Dialog, the nanoX-TC measures just 84x55mm and is among the smallest computer-on-modules available. It is a rugged, robust PC module capable of enduring up to 15G peak to peak shocks and 1.88Grms vibration. Using the full processing capabilities of the Intel Atom processor E6xx, it consumes just 5W at 5V (3W idle).

Dialog added that DA6011 integrates both power management and clock driver functionality for the Intel Atom processor E6xx and to maximise efficiency, the DA6011 precisely regulates power and provides the clock source to core system components: Intel Atom processor E6xx, flash memory, RAM and I/O hubs. Dialog has also implemented a new feature that allows the DA6011's latest version to use AT & ATX power supplies and is able to continuously support Intel's dynamic voltage control of the core and graphic processor.
