Pure Energy Announces RadioShack's Launch of Wire-Free Products

(TheNewswire.ca Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (via Thenewswire.ca) Toronto, Ontario Canada, August 22, 2011 (TheNewswire.ca) -- Pure Energy Visions Corporation (PEV - TSX Venture) (XYQ - FWB) (OTC: PUURF.PK), ("PEV"), and PureEnergy Solutions, Inc., ("PES" or PureEnergy") are pleased to announce that its WildCharge® wire-free power technology will be featured in a new line of products being introduced by RadioShack under its Enercell brand. The first products have now been introduced in the US, with additional products to follow later this year.

The initial product launch includes a newly designed Enercell-branded wire-free power charging pad, which allows users to charge cell phones and other portable devices by simply placing the device, equipped with WildCharge technology, anywhere on the pad, regardless of orientation or positioning. The charging pad provides a universal platform that will charge current and future devices equipped with WildCharge technology, which may be embedded or enabled with an aftermarket adapter. RadioShack has also introduced a sleek new iPhone4 hard case, which provides protection and convenient charging with an attractive design, along with the PowerDiscs, a universal WildCharge solution that supports hundreds of different cell phone models, and is compatible with the vast majority of phones on the market today, including the iPhone. The PowerDisc also works with the iPod touch and other MP3 players. PureEnergy expects its WildCharge technology will be available in approximately 4,400 RadioShack locations across the U.S. in the coming months. PureEnergy has already received orders in excess of $1million from RadioShack in support of the initial launch of its Enercell-branded WildCharge wire-free products.

PureEnergy and RadioShack have recently signed a technology licensing agreement that will allow RadioShack to independently develop additional products based on PureEnergy's WildCharge technology. With this agreement in place, RadioShack may develop additional charging pads, device adapters and skins designed for the wire-free charging of various mobile electronic devices, including cell phones from companies such as Apple, RIM, Motorola, Samsung, LG, and Nokia, as well as other devices such as MP3 players, eReaders, portable gaming systems and more. The current 20-watt charging pad enables consumers to charge up to five devices simultaneously by simply placing them in any random location upon the pad, without regard to orientation or location.

"It's exciting to see our wire-free charging technology now gaining significant traction in the US and other parts of the world," said Phil Sustronk, CEO of PureEnergy. "Through our relationship with Radio Shack and with others we have established a leading role in wire-free charging technology with product now available in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia."
