BRIEF: AT&T says land line services have been restored in BurbankAug 19, 2011 (Glendale News-Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- An AT&T spokeswoman said land line connections have been restored to hundreds of customers in Burbank who lost service on Saturday. Crews have been working around the clock to repair a cable that was accidentally cut by other construction crews on Front Street near the Metrolink station. As of 2:45 a.m. today, service was completely restored, said AT&T spokeswoman Meredith Red. The loss of service has infuriated business owners who say the loss of service prevented customers from reaching them on advertised phone numbers, resulting in thousands of dollars in lost revenue. Red directed inquiries about possible reimbursements to the company's customer service line.
