[August 19, 2011] BRIEF: Otis, Galt's sky-diving dog, goes viral Tweet Aug 19, 2011 (The Sacramento Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Otis, the 10-year-old sky-diving pug from Galt, has his fur flying around the world in the Internet, viral way. The dog has had his spotlight moment on "Inside Edition," and other TV outlets have sought his high-flying presence. Otis and his owner Will DaSilva were featured in The Sacramento Bee and on sacbee.com Tuesday, with a video of the ecstatic dog plunging through the heavens. Otis, sporting his "doggles," made his 64th jump with his owner in Lodi Monday, capturing the attention of anyone drawn to what-will-we-do-with-our-dogs-next. The story has appeared in numerous spots, from the New York Daily News to Britain's Daily Telegraph. No surprise -- we like to share videos of an animal doing the extraordinary things.
