Leading Business Process Outsourcer Selects Kofax as Its Enterprise Capture Platform

Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of capture driven process automation solutions, today announced that a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) firm has selected Kofax as its enterprise capture platform. The value of the contract to Kofax exceeds $1.5 million.

The customer, who provides BPO services to customers in the real estate, mortgage, asset management and financial services industries, will implement Kofax Capture, Kofax VirtualReScan (VRS), Kofax Transformation Modules and Kofax Monitor to scan and process approximately 58 million mortgage applications and other loan documents it receives annually. The Kofax software will enable the company to scan, classify, separate and extract information for accelerated processing and route the resulting digital information to its proprietary repository for easy access, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

Kofax VRS Elite reduces the time involved in manual document preparation and enhances the quality of scanned images, dramatically improving both manual scanning productivity and the efficiency of document capture processes. Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) adds document and form classification, page separation, challenging data extraction and validation capabilities to Kofax Capture to drive robust capture-to-process applications.
