Granola Enterprise v4.0 offers improved power savings through custom policies and schedule

Jul 29, 2011 (Mass Media Distribution LLC via COMTEX) -- This feature enables administrators to specify different desired levels of power management for different hours of the day and days of the week which can then be assigned to custom groups of systems under management. A typical use case would be to assign a more aggressive power policy during the nighttime hours and weekends, resulting in greater energy savings during the less-utilized hours.

"These features are based directly on our understanding of our clients' needs," says Joseph Turner, MiserWare's VP of Engineering. "Policies and scheduling increase the core value of Granola Enterprise." For more details on the release and a video demo of the new features, please refer to the release notes.
