[July 29, 2011] BRIEF: Video shows July 4 robbery at Pompano gas station Tweet Jul 29, 2011 (Sun Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Broward Sheriff's investigators are trying to identify a masked robber who held up a Pompano Beach gas station at knifepoint on July 4. Officials on Thursday released a surveillance video of the crime in the hope that the public can help them identify a suspect. The robbery happened at about 3 p.m. at the Shell at 3101 W. Atlantic Blvd. The robber walked in wearing a dark-colored bandana over his face and also had on sunglasses, a red baseball cap, shorts and a light-green shirt.
