BRIEF: Female student in S Korea group-raped and had an abortionSEOUL, Jul 29, 2011 (The Korea Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Five male high school students were indicted Friday for gang-raping a 16-year-old runaway in Cheonan, South Korea. According to the police investigation, the girl, surnamed Park, ran away from home on March 17 and the five suspects allegedly lured her by offering a place to stay. They are accused of repeatedly raping the girl at a studio in Cheonan. While some of the five students have admitted and expressed remorse for the crime, the others insist they had sexual intercourse by consent. The police reported that Park had an abortion in the aftermath of the assault.
