[July 25, 2011] EffectiveUI Receives 15 Top Industry Honors Tweet Jul 25, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- During the first half of 2011, EffectiveUI reported it secured 15 industry awards for its user experience client work and self-promotion activities. The Company said that these latest awards are in addition to the more than 70 awards that EffectiveUI has garnered over the years for the company and for the custom strategy, design and development of web, desktop and mobile experiences for clients. In a release, EffectiveUI reported details of the awards received: On June 20, EffectiveUI was awarded two Stevie Awards in the 2011 American Business Awards ceremony. The American Business Awards program was created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide. EffectiveUI won top honors in two categories: Website - Telecommunications for its work on the My Level3 Customer Portal; and Website - Aerospace and Defense for its work on the U.S. Navy Blue Angels website. EffectiveUI was also named to the SD Times 100 in June in the Mobile category, alongside Apple, Google, The Android Project and others. Since 2003, SD Times has selected the top leaders, looking back at their achievements in the previous calendar year. They carefully consider each company's offerings and reputation, as well as leadership within the industry. According to the publication, selecting the companies to make the list takes months of nominations, research and debate. Other recent EffectiveUI honors include: The Communicator Awards is an international awards program honoring creative excellence for Communications Professionals. Founded by communication professionals more than a decade ago, EffectiveUI was awarded Silver Communicator Awards for two web-based projects, as well as the company's own trade show exhibit booth. Graphic Design USA magazine's American Web Design Awards is an annual celebration of the power of well-designed websites and online communications to attract audiences, disseminate ideas and information, generate response and promote products and services. EffectiveUI was named to this list for its design and development of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels website. The Horizon Interactive Awards program was created to recognize excellence in interactive media production worldwide. Winning entries are dubbed the "best of the best" in the interactive media industry. EffectiveUI won Horizon Awards for two client projects (mobile and web-based), as well as six awards for its own website environments that highlight User Research and Strategy, Design and Development.
