[July 22, 2011] HaiVision Network Video acquires MontiVision Imaging Technologies Tweet Jul 22, 2011 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- HaiVision Network Video has acquired MontiVision Imaging Technologies, a Germany-based provider of technologies for video acquisition, machine vision, surveillance and medical imaging applications. HaiVision Network Video is a US-based provider of advanced video networking, digital signage and IP video distribution solutions. Simultaneously, HaiVision Network has also acquired KulaByte Corporation. Following these transactions, the technologies of both KulaByte and MontiVision, including advanced encoding, transcoding, cloud computing and workflow solutions, will be combined to form Haivision's new Internet media division. This division will be focused on developing technologies to deliver OTT media and to power enterprise social media networks.
