BRIEF: Spartans' Kirk Cousins has right look in 'NCAA Football 12' video gameJul 18, 2011 (Detroit Free Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- It's a different year, different rating and different look for Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins. He's practically a new man in the EA Sports "NCAA Football 12" video game that hit stores a week ago. His rating is up from 60 to 91 in this year's game. His jersey number is actually correct -- No. 8 this year instead of No. 1 last year. And he doesn't appear to have any facial hair this time around. "Don't have a mustache? OK, good," Cousins told the Holland Sentinel. "I think winning 11 games last year got our faces out there enough to where they can get my facial hair right. But no, it was fun. It's cool to be in a video game. It's neat." Cousins is the highest-rated Spartan along with running back Edwin Baker and kicker Dan Conroy, who also are at 91. Ohio State's Terrelle Pryor (96) and Northwestern's Dan Persa (92) are the only Big Ten quarterbacks rated higher, though Pryor is not playing this season at OSU. Michigan's Denard Robinson is rated the same as Cousins. "Hopefully, all of us can be in Madden some day," Cousins said. "That's the dream: to be playing in the NFL."
