Tweet (Guardian (UK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The car manufacturer has finally solved the problem of the satnav that couldn't be updated (Money, 2 July 2011). A spokesman said: "We have identified that there are two types of update possible for the navigation unit in your reader's car. One is an update to the unit operating system software, which a dealer can do, and the latest version available is 4.0. The navigation maps can also be updated with new SD cards and these are available for customers to order from Ford's customer service division via their dealer.
