[July 12, 2011] Jive Names John Rizzo Chief Marketing Officer Tweet Jul 12, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Jive Software announced the appointment of John Rizzo as Chief Marketing Officer. According to a release, in his new role, Rizzo will lead the marketing team and will be responsible for Jive's overall go-to-market strategy. "I am thrilled to welcome John to the Jive executive team," said Tony Zingale, Jive CEO. "He is an exceptional leader who can thread the needle between the consumer and the enterprise markets a unique and fundamental ability in the Social Business space. John will be instrumental in honing Jive's vision and go-to-market strategy to further extend our leadership and momentum." Prior to joining Jive, Rizzo spent the last several years as President and CEO of Zeebo. At Zeebo he launched a new interactive entertainment, Internet, social networking and education platform. Rizzo began his career at Intel and spent several years at Apple as Director of Macintosh Product Marketing. He also held executive roles at Oracle, Weitek and Cahoots/Informative.
