Isa Hamid and Hassan Kazarona scored a hat-trick apiece for the victors, while Aqeel Barakat added a brace to secure their lopsided triumph. Isa Mohammed netted the lone goal for Manama. The victory was the second for Al Ahli in group 'B'. They improved to six points. Manama remained on three points. In another match, the Ministry of Interior defeated Sitra Club 11-4 in group 'C'. Ismaeel Abdullatif scored a superb five goals for the winners, while Khaled Ghazi added another two. Abdulrahman Mubarak, Hani Badrani, Ali A'amer and Fahad Al Hardan were the others to score a goal each. Netted Abbas Mohammed netted three goals for Sitra. The win took the Ministry of Interior to three points in their group table. Meanwhile, national futsal and beach soccer head coach Gustavo Zloccowick from Brazil expressed his delight in having achieved his dream of establishing a futsal championship in Bahrain. He said that the organisation of such a league would help a large number of Bahrain's football players further develop their skills, and hopefully give the country a chance to excel in the sport in the future. A total of 26 teams are taking part in this maiden championship. They have been divided into six groups, with each group winner and runner-up moving on to the second round. Fifteen companies are sponsoring the competition. They include golden sponsors Batelco, silver sponsors Diyar Al Muharraq and Kuwait Finance House. Bronze sponsors are Chevron Bahrain and Kia Motors, while other sponsors are BBK, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, Samsung, Ahmed Sharif Furniture, Kuwait Airways, Soccer Scene, Shoot, Al Ahmar Magazine and Al Qawasem Forums.
