Environment Ministry Ends First National Communication On Climate Changes


Luanda, Jul 05, 2011 (Angola Press Agency/All Africa Global Media via COMTEX) -- The Ministry of Environment ended in June 2011 the drafting of its first National Communication of the UN Framework on Climate Changes, aimed at facilitating the adaptation and mitigation of this phenomenon in Angola.

This was said to Angop on Tuesday by the project co-ordinator, Abias Huongo.

According to him, the document will permit the conducting of the national survey of the gases of greenhouse effects, the creation of conditions to establish specific measures to facilitate its updating.


With the drafting of this, the Angolan executive through the Ministry of Environment complies with one more commitment by the UN.
