Full PlayStation Network Functionality Being Restored to Japan This Week (SNE)


Jul 05, 2011 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Sony (NYSE:SNE) will finish restoring its PlayStation Network later this week when it reactivates the service in Japan, almost two and a half months after its networks were breached by hackers. Beginning July 6, the company will bring back online purchases of game content and video on demand from the PlayStation Network and Qriocity.

Sony has a potential upside of 27.5% based on a current price of $26.63 and an average consensus analyst price target of $33.95.

Sony is currently below its 50-day moving average (MA) of $26.91 and below its 200-day MA of $32.07. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has fallen 1.41% while the 200-day MA has slid 0.35%.
