[July 04, 2011] BRIEF: Local chefs compete for Iron Chef honors in Williamsburg Tweet Jun 24, 2011 (Daily Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Area chefs again will compete in the Iron Chef Wine & Food Expo sponsored by the Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association. This year's event takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at Windsor Meade of Williamsburg, 3900 Windsor Hall Drive. The popular evening includes a tasting of more than 50 wines and hors d'oeurves provided by five area restaurants. This year's competition will include teams of top chefs from Berret's, Blue Talon Bistro, Colonial Heritage, Great Wolf Lodge, Riverwalk, Seasons, Williamsburg Inn and Windsor Meade. Tickets are $65 individual, $120 couple, at the door, and proceeds benefit the restaurant association.
