Icron Technologies Announces Special Meeting Date(Canada Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BURNABY, BC, July 4, 2011 /CNW/ - Icron Technologies Corporation (TSX Venture Exchange: IT) a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance USB and video extension solutions today announced that it has scheduled a Special Meeting of Shareholders. The Special Meeting is being scheduled for purposes of considering the plan of arrangement transaction contemplated pursuant to the arrangement agreement entered into by the Corporation, Pender Financial Group Corporation and 7895461 Canada Inc., as announced in a news release on June 21, 2011. A copy of the arrangement agreement is available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:00 am. It will be held at Suite 1300, 777 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver, BC, V7Y 1K2. The record date for determining shareholders entitled to notice of the Special Meeting and to vote at the Special Meeting is July 6, 2011.
