Forrester has based its findings based on interviews and briefings with the companies it evaluated, among other things, and has measured the companies against 68 levels of capability across three categories - current offering, strategy, and market presence. According to the report, "Wipro's Oracle resources are dedicated to serving industries such as manufacturing, retail, and telecommunications across a range of Oracle product lines. The provider has one of the larger bases of offshore resources. Its 2008 acquisition of Infocrossing makes it a provider of hosting services as well." It further mentions how providers use innovative ways to drive down costs, improve efficiency, and drive process improvements such as Wipro's Flex Delivery for Oracle support.
