BRIEF: BSO releases video of Subway robber

Jun 22, 2011 (The Miami Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Police have released the surveillance video that recorded a man robbing a South Florida sandwich shop.

Late Sunday night a man went to a Subway on the 4000 block of Andrews Avenue in Oakland Park and told the clerk he had a gun, said Dani Moschella, spokeswoman for Broward Sheriff's Office.

After that he grabbed the cash register and fled.

The video shows what appears to be the alleged robber walking in the sandwich shop and handing the clerk a note. She walks away to a back room of the Subway and he jumps over the counter and takes the cash register before fleeing in a black SUV.
