AT&T Completes Acquisition of Minority Stake in Cincinnati-Area Cellular PartnershipsDALLAS --(Business Wire)-- AT&T* announced today it has completed the acquisition of Convergys' (News - Alert) minority interests in the Cincinnati SMSA Limited Partnership and an associated cell tower holding company for approximately $320 million. AT&T's (News - Alert) decision to purchase Convergys' minority stake was driven by financial and operational considerations, and because AT&T acquired minority interests in partnerships it already controlled, regulatory approvals for this transaction were not required.
