Karmasphere Adds MapR to List of Supported Hadoop Distributions

Karmasphere™, a Big Data Intelligence company, today announced it is integrating its solutions with MapR's Hadoop distribution, which emphasizes high availability, fault tolerance, and enterprise-class support and service. Karmasphere also announced it has joined MapR Technologies Advantage Partner Program.

Karmasphere will integrate Karmasphere Analyst, a complete visual workspace for data professionals to explore and analyze Big Data using familiar SQL and pre-packaged heuristics. Karmasphere will also integrate its Karmasphere Studio Professional Edition, a graphical MapReduce development environment so that developers can get more Hadoop jobs up and running in support of their data analysts.
