Sims as president of its mobile services business Sybase 365, effective July 1. "We warmly welcome John to the Sybase family," said John Chen, chairman and CEO of Sybase. "John brings a wealth of experience in the mobile market, and will focus on extending the global leadership of Sybase 365 in messaging and mobile commerce services." According to a release, from 2001 to 2010, Sims served as CEO of 724 Solutions, Inc., a company that engages in the design, development, marketing and support of mobile internet/mobile broadband products for use by mobile network operators worldwide. He was also co-founder, CEO and President of TANTAU Software, Inc., a provider of high volume, secure, mobile eCommerce solutions to enterprises.
