Smaller but Smarter Electric Power Storage by Leo

LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)--

Leo Motors, Inc. (Pink OTC Markets: LEOM) has begun marketing electric power storage, called "e-Box," which stores electricity to supply power for emergency back-up or mobility. Leo is marketing many different capacities of e-Boxes range from 3kW to 50 kW. In this new power storage, Leo used seven patented technologies which were developed for the power storage for Electric Vehicles (EV). For more than seven years, Leo endeavored to develop and test electric power storage to be used in EVs which must be smaller in size, safer in operation and mobility, and smarter in controlling the flow of power.

Leo's ultra precision Battery Management System (BMS) controls the voltage differences up to 0.01 volt between lithium polymer battery cells during charging and discharging. Safety Cut-off Voltage Detector prevents fatal battery damage caused from low voltage. The new developed Battery Controller maintains voltage, power flow, and battery temperature under optimum in various power requirements. E-Box is air cooled but is water proofed. It was also developed to work properly in the rough conditions such as earthquake and dusty environments caused by weather. Using microeletronic circuits rather than the conventional coils in its inverter, Leo's new power storage has enhanced DC (Direct Current) to AC (Alternating Current) conversion efficiency. Adding voice recognition technology, Leo's e-Box can be easily and intuitively controlled by non technology savvy and average home appliance users. Using these technologies, Leo also was in successful in lowering the price of the power storage. It is less than half of the price of competitive models.

E-Box is around ten times smaller in size and than other electricity storage units currently available in the market. E-Box can be efficiently used for emergency back-up power, refrigeration vans and trucks, air cooler for long distance cargo trucks, and military vehicles. In launching the e-Box, Leo got Letters of Buying Intentions from companies and organizations both in Japan and USA. According to Mr. John Lee, CEO, "E-Box will be our cash cow this year as we are now closing mass orders."
