SeaChange and Avail-TVN Unveil Integrated Multi-Screen Managed Video Service


Jun 20, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- SeaChange International, a global multi-screen video software provider, and Avail-TVN, a digital media services company, unveiled an integrated multi-screen managed video service designed to provide video operators with a multi-device video offering.



According to a release, the service combines SeaChange's Express multi-screen cloud based service offering with Avail-TVN's expertise in content licensing, asset management and delivery, so video operators can add PC, tablet or mobile device streaming, including Apple and Android, to existing television services within a few weeks.

Solution components include: SeaChange Adrenalin Multi-Screen Back Office Software Linear & VOD content offerings from Avail-TVN Pre-integration with existing SeaChange products Operator-branded PC, tablet and mobile user interfaces, based on the SeaChange Personal Experience Multi-Screen User Interface Software Pre-integrated Digital Rights Management options Multi-format streaming support Avail-TVN's market leading encoding, metadata management, content management and distribution services The Avail-TVN content offering for multi-screen distribution includes Hollywood new release and library titles and network television programs prepared in a number of adaptive bitrate HD and SD profiles and available in multiple streaming formats.
