Cellular Dynamics signs agreement with iPS Academia Japan for iCell Cardiomyocytes


Jun 09, 2011 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Cellular Dynamics International, Inc. (CDI), a US-based developer of tools and services for drug discovery, screening and predictive toxicology, has signed an agreement with iPS Academia Japan, Inc., a Japan-based company engaged in transferring the research outcomes and technology relating to the induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.



Under the collaboration, iPS Academia will distribute CDI's iCell(R) Cardiomyocytes, a product based on induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), in Japan.
