[June 09, 2011] HP TouchPad available from 1 July in the US Tweet Jun 09, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- HP (NYSE:HPQ) will release the Wi-Fi version of HP TouchPad in the United States on 1 July, the technology company announced today. The product, HP's first webOS tablet, will be available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Germany a few days later and in Canada in mid-July. Later in the year it will go on sale in Italy and Spain, as well as in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore. In the US the HP TouchPad will be available with the option of either 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage, priced at USD499.99 and USD599.99, respectively. Preorders in North America and Europe will start on 19 June. HP has also revealed that it will be partnering with AT&T (NYSE:T) to introduce a connected version of HP TouchPad later this summer.
