[June 09, 2011] Cool-off game: Tether ball-oon Tweet Jun 09, 2011 (Disney FamilyFun magazine - McClatchy-Tribune News Service via COMTEX) -- Prepare to get wet in this sit-down, spray-bottle version of tetherball. First, pour a tablespoon or so of water into a large round balloon, blow it up, and knot it. Stick a post into the ground. (We used a broomstick, but you can also use a bamboo garden stake, or even a straight tree branch can be used for this game. Tie the balloon to the top with nylon cord. Equip two players with water filled sprayers, and have them sit on either side of the post. As in regular tetherball, the winner is the first to make the cord wrap around the post _ in this case, using only his water sprayer.
