TextPower announces text messaging partnership with MilsoftJun 08, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Software and text messaging gateway services provider TextPower announced on Wednesday a technology partnership with Milsoft, a provider of software solutions for the utility industry. No financial details of the partnership were disclosed. According to TextPower this partnership will enable Milsoft's utility customers to receive and send text messages about such things as outages, load shedding alerts, delinquencies, appointment scheduling, pending payments and other services offered through the company in its IVR hosted call centre using TextPower's SMS service. TextPower integrates with an organisation's back-office system to create event-triggered alerts that allow senior management to decide the criteria, so that when something happens or reaches a pre-determined threshold, alerts are automatically sent to a mobile or group of cell phones.
