Greenberg Traurig Listed as Miami's Top Corporate Firm for the 9th Time in 10 Years in Magazine Study

Greenberg Traurig, P.A. is listed as the No. 1 corporate law firm in Miami in the 11^th annual "Legal Industry Research Study" by Corporate Board Member magazine and FTI Consulting Inc. This is the ninth time in 10 years that the international law firm has placed at the top of the list for the market. The study reflects the votes of general counsel and directors serving on boards of publicly traded companies listed with the NASDAQ, New York or American Stock Exchanges.

The annual study identifies 25 firms as the top national corporate law firms and three firms in 25 major metropolitan areas as the top in those markets. Greenberg Traurig received the top ranking in the Miami market every year from 2002 to 2009. The 2010 study did not include market-specific rankings.

Westerlund recently joined the firm's Fort Lauderdale office from Holland & Knight and Becker & Poliakoff, respectively. Shareholders Barbara P. Alonso and David E. Wells also returned to the Miami office, bringing a wealth of experience in various corporate matters. Wells previously worked at Greenberg Traurig as an associate. Alonso was previously at Greenberg Traurig as a summer associate.
