Max Media Group acquires assets of BB2Live.com


Jun 07, 2011 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Max Media Group, Inc. (formerly Hesperia Holding, Inc.) has acquired majority of the assets of BB2Live.com and its technology applications including Internet Radio Protocol, IPTV (Internet Television), VOIP and SMS text messaging. Both the companies are based in the US.

Max Media Group is an operator of media outlets for the marketing of classic cars, boats, planes, recreation vehicles and higher end vehicles. BB2 is a developer of BB2's technologies including Internet radio, IPTV, VOIP, SMS text messaging Update on May 19, 2011: Max Media Group has executed a definitive agreement to acquire majority of the assets of BB2 and its technology applications including Internet Radio Protocol, IPTV (Internet Television), VOIP and SMS text messaging.

The definitive agreement also includes the acquisition of BB2's film and music library, BB2's approximate 15 million subscribers and BlackBook2.com (includes a complete social networking site as well as numerous unique URLs for future development).


The transaction is expected to close by May 31, 2011.

Announcement (March 24, 2011); Max Media Group has entered into a letter of intent to acquire majority of the assets of BB2 and its technology applications including Internet Radio Protocol, IPTV (Internet Television), VOIP and SMS text messaging.
