The new offering, which was unveiled by Steve Jobs, Apple's chief executive, allows users to synchronise their content on an online server so it can be accessed from different computers and mobile devices. Emails, apps, documents and music can all be synchronised with the new system free of charge. Should a user buy some music using their iPod, it will automatically be 'pushed' to their iPad, iPhone and any other synchronised device. Jobs presented the system at the firm's annual developers' conference in San Francisco, returning from medical leave temporarily for the event. ADOBE RELEASES FLASH UPDATE TO FIX SECURITY VULNERABILITY: Adobe has released another update for its Flash Player to fix a serious security vulnerability that could expose Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris users to cross-site scripting attacks, ZDnet has reported. In the targeted attacks, Adobe said users are being tricked into clicking on a malicious link delivered in an email message. "This universal cross-site scripting vulnerability could be used to take actions on a user's behalf on any website or webmail provider, if the user visits a malicious website," Adobe said.
