This would be the first report on the number of recorded network incidents and virus activity found in the scientific network AzScienceNet, the Head of the ITI Structural Department Yadigar Imamverdiyev told Trend on Tuesday.

Imamverdiyev said that the statistical report will be devoted to describing network incidents and vulnerabilities, including information about network attacks and threat levels.

"The statistical report will be prepared by Computer Emergency Response Team AZ-CERT, whose functions directly include the AzScienceNet network. The report will be published monthly", Imamverdiyev said.

The report's main objective is to inform users about the threats in time to allow for a greater reduction of damage from virus and hacker attacks.
