BRIEF: Frazier to graduate 78 Friday


Jun 02, 2011 (The Daily Courier - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Frazier High School Class of 2011 will receive their diplomas Friday night.

Gabrielle Campbell has been named the class valedictorian.

She is the daughter of Shawn and Kim Campbell of Grindstone.

She is president of the National Honor Society, president of Ecology Club, president of Leo's Club, vice president of Frazier Marching Band, and a member of the Interact Club.

She received a scholarship for being named a Fayette County Community All Star.

She plans to continue her education at the University of Pittsburgh to study biomedical engineering.

Emily Leonard is the 2011 a salutatorian.

She is the daughter of Kenneth and Meg Leonard of Dawson.


She is the secretary with the National Honor Society, a member of the mock trial, Foreign Language Club, and Interact Club.


She intends to continue her education at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg for two years and then go on the main campus in Pittsburgh. Her major is undecided.

Seventy-eight students will be graduating.

Graduation will be held at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
