CradlePoint Expands Senior Leadership Team


Boise, Idaho, Jun 02, 2011 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- CradlePoint (http://www.cradlepoint.com), a leading provider of 4G/3G network router solutions for distributed enterprise, small business and mobile consumers, announced today new leadership roles across the organization.



"In order to capitalize on major momentum we are strengthening our collective leadership team to execute on marketing, services and support for enterprise, small business and consumers," said CEO Pat Sewall. The privately held $25 million a year Boise-based company has grown in six years from a start up to a global leader in mobile broadband routers for 3G/4G wireless networks.

Cradlepoint has consistently grown about 30 percent a year since its start in 2004. Since the start of 2011, the company has hired 36 new employees and grown 40 percent.


"We believe wireless is going to take over the wire," said COO Ryan Adamson. "We are excited to have dynamic professionals who will continue our efforts in innovation, elevate our offerings and help guide the company's continued growth." CradlePoint's new leadership team includes: Tim Ayers, Senior Vice President of Services Ayers has more than 20 years of experience in global leadership, teamwork and business strategy and technology consulting and professional services for many of the world's largest telecommunications providers, global enterprises and government agencies. Tim comes from the CTO group at Tellabs (http://www.tellabs.com), where he was VP, Services Strategy. Previously, he developed and managed the Tellabs Global Consulting and Professional Services organization providing high-end network architecture, design, migration and optimization services to mobile and cable operators worldwide. Prior to Tellabs, he held similar roles at IBM Business Consulting Services (http://www.ibm.com), 3Com and Digital Equipment Corporation. Tim has a Bachelor of Arts in Business from North Central College in Naperville, Ill. He is a member and active participant in the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) the Services Research and Innovation Institute (SRII) and the Human Capital Institute (HCI).

Don Baumgartner, Vice President of Operations Baumgartner comes to CradlePoint with more than 20 years of extensive experience in executing strategic marketing, business management and operational efficiency to grow companies to the highest level. Don has consistently lead companies from start-up positions in emerging markets to market leaders in global competitive markets while consistently increasing revenue growth. Don's expertise expands across an organization providing experience in building the teams and operational structure needed for companies to scale effectively through rapid growth. Don served as Chief Operating Officer at Relkuse Motor Sports, and is the former Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Extended Systems. Don holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Idaho.

Brian Espy, Vice President Global Sales Espy is a highly accomplished Sales Executive who has taken numerous technology companies to market leadership over the past 10 years. Most recently, Brian was the President of MobileForce Communications, an innovative sales agency which helped technology companies to quickly penetrate the wireless telecommunications market. Prior to forming MobileForce, Brian served as VP of North American Sales at Nexius Wireless and Mformation Technologies, helping both achieve market leadership in less than two years. Earlier in Brian's career he led North American sales at Starent Networks and was instrumental in forming the company's first, and most strategic, carrier relationships. Starent later went public and was acquired by Cisco Systems for $2.9 billion. Brian holds a BBA from Wichita State University.

Todd Kelly, Vice President of Sales Engineering Prior to CradlePoint, Kelly was Vice President of Technology Development at MobileForce Communications. Todd was responsible for creating successful solution strategies for product vendors and mobile operators in North America. Before starting MobileForce Communications, Todd undertook several global leadership roles building sales engineering and architecture teams selling IP infrastructure and software solutions at 3Com, Starent Networks and Nexius Wireless. Over the last 13 years, Todd was a key pioneer developing numerous new product and network architectures with mobile operators supporting their evolution to broadband multimedia services. Todd holds a Master's from Northwestern University in Information Technology and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University.

Jennifer Miller, Vice President of Human Resources Miller, SPHR, GPHR, has more than 16 years' experience in senior level HR Management. She has served as both Chapter President and Idaho State Council Director for the Society for Human Resource Management. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree from Boise State University and Master's degree from University of Idaho. Jennifer was honored as the first HR Professional to receive Boise State's Outstanding Alumni Award and has taught as adjunct faculty for BSU's College of Business and Economics.

Tanya Vaughan, Director of Marketing Vaughan brings with her 15 years of marketing experience including B2C, B2B and partner marketing. She has extensive experience in online and traditional marketing from Micron Electronics, HP, Symantec and most recently, Bodybuilding.com, as VP of Marketing. She has been a speaker at multiple marketing conferences including Search Engine Strategies, PubCon and eTail. She served on the board for SEMPO in 2007 and was awarded Accomplished 40 Under 40 presented by Idaho Business Review. Tanya has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master's degree from Boise State University.
