Consumer Cellular Launches Second Annual "Grandparents Day" Contest
PORTLAND, Ore. --(Business Wire)--
Do you have a story to share about an extraordinary grandparent, or
about an experience with grandparenting? In honor of Grandparents

the exclusive wireless provider for AARP members, is asking people from
across the country to submit their most remarkable grandparenting story.
The grand prize winner will receive a six-night Caribbean cruise for
themselves and three loved ones provided by AARP®
Travel Center powered by Expedia®. The contest begins
June 1 and runs through August 1.

Submitting nominations for Consumer Cellular's Grandparents Day contest
is easy:
1. Visit www.grandparentsday2011.com
for a complete list of contest guidelines and the official entry form.
2. Create a three-minute video or a
500 word essay answering one of the following questions:

What makes my parent an extraordinary grandparent?

What makes grandparenting extraordinary?

What is your favorite grandparent memory?

What is your favorite travel-related grandparent story?
3. Upload submissions and entry form.
Entries will be accepted June 1 through Monday, Aug. 1. All entries will
be posted online and the general public is invited to vote for their
favorite submission until midnight eastern time on Wednesday, Aug. 10.
Fifty semi-finalists will be announced on Monday, Aug. 15. Each
semi-finalist will receive a $50 Expedia (News - Alert) coupon that may be used toward
the purchase of hotel booking at AARP Travel Center powered by Expedia.
The top five finalists will be announced the day after the official
Grandparents Day on Monday, Sept. 12. Finalists will receive a $100 Visa
gift card that may be used at retail locations that accept Visa cards.
The grand prize winner will be announced by Consumer Cellular during Life@50+,
AARP's National Event and Expo in Los Angeles, Calif., taking place
Sept. 22 through Sept. 24. Consumer Cellular will also announce its
second place prize winner, who will receive roundtrip coach class
airfare for four to anywhere Delta or United Airlines fly in the
continental U.S., as well as its third place prize winner, who will
receive a two night stay for four at any Marriott Property (limit $1,000
total).
