Intertainment announces cloud-enabled Ortsbo translation platformMay 30, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Technology company Intertainment Media Inc (TSX VENTURE:INT)(OTCQX:ITMTF)(FRANKFURT:I4T) announced on Monday that its real time language translation platform Ortsbo is offering a cloud computing real time translation application built on the Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) Windows Azure platform. According to the company, Ortsbo's new HTML alpha platform allows users to connect initially, to Facebook, MSN and Google GTalk. Other social networks are expected to be implemented soon. The HTML version of Ortsbo, combined with Windows Azure cloud platform, allows commercial and consumer use of the platform without the need to download a plug-in, facilitating real time translated chat to browser-enabled devices. The move to Windows Azure is expected to provide Ortsbo with increased user capacity, speed and performance in an operating expense model, as compared to a traditional capital expense model. The company is also developing its new platform, Ortsbo 2.0, with increased language capabilities, allowing users to chat in real time in over 80 languages.
