ProMark Solutions Selects Desktone for Cloud-Hosted Virtual DesktopsApr 21, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Desktone announced that ProMark Solutions, a performance and implementation management supplier to public and municipal utilities, and manufacturer of Perfacto software, has subscribed to the Desktone Cloud. "We wanted an agile, robust and standardized desktop environment that our developers and consultants could easily access from anywhere. We looked into virtual desktop infrastructure but realized that, not only would it have been very expensive, but implementing and supporting VDI would have distracted us from our core business," said Maryann Wolff, Managing Partner of ProMark Solutions, in a release. "The Desktone Cloud enabled us to quickly get up and running on virtual desktops without having to invest in new infrastructure.
