PlusNetMarketing Taps Dave Nazaruk as Senior VP of Sales

Nazaruk comes from healthcare information and technology companies StayWell/MediMedia, Thomson Science, Reed Elsevier, and W.B. Saunders, according to the Company. He spent the last 7 years focused on the retail sector, working with category leaders such as Kroger, Safeway, Rite Aid and Target to create targeted, private-labeled consumer health marketing and communications programs. In his new role, Nazaruk will support PlusNet's initiative to drive health and wellness promotional opportunities for retailers. Representing PlusNet, Nazaruk's first step towards this goal will be participating on a panel at the Food Marketing Institute's Health & Wellness Conference, April 3-5th at the Omni Orlando Resort in ChampionsGate (Orlando, Fl).



PlusNet's Nazaruk will serve as one of two experts on the FMI panel entitled "Health System Reform: Opportunities for a new healthcare experience." He will discuss the opportunities for the retail industry to create a new model for bringing health and wellness support to consumers as a result of new and forthcoming changes to the healthcare system. According to Nazaruk, food and pharmacy retailers are a natural part of a community infrastructure that should be leveraged to engage customers during every part of their healthcare experience.
