TxVia to Support BankSimple's Customer-Centric Vision of Banking

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--

TxVia, Inc., a leader in processing technology for prepaid and emerging payments, and Simple Finance Technology Corp., the creators of BankSimple, today announced an agreement whereby TxVia will enable a variety of financial products for BankSimple, including processing for payment cards, starting later this year.

BankSimple is reinventing personal banking by offering modern online and mobile experiences, no surprise fees, and great customer service. The BankSimple service will provide FDIC-insured products accessed through a single BankSimple-branded card. The service will feature fee-free access to over 50,000 ATMs, free online bill payment, fast and painless money transfers, an open API and responsive customer service via the phone and Web. Over 40,000 individuals have requested a beta invite to the service's upcoming launch at https://banksimple.com.

"Many financial services customers are frustrated with their banking experience, in large part due to poor experiences caused by antiquated banking technology," said Joshua Reich, CEO of BankSimple. "With the level of configurability and control that TxVia provides us, we'll offer our customers products that are unmatched by traditional providers."

"In this mobile-enabled, always-on world, banking customers can't understand why it's nearly impossible to get an accurate, real-time view of their finances," Reich continues. "The TxVia PaaS delivery model i a banking technologist's dream, because it enables us to deliver on our customer-centric vision of banking."

TxVia will provide BankSimple with a customized and segregated processing platform with the highest levels of scalability and availability, running on a hybrid private elastic compute grid that interfaces securely with BankSimple's cloud infrastructure.

"There is tremendous excitement around BankSimple in many corners of the financial services industry, and we believe that is attributable, in part, to the disruptive technology that is core to BankSimple's 2.0 banking strategy," says Jonathan Weiner, EVP of TxVia. "We're delighted to have been selected as BankSimple's processing technology partner to support this innovative organization in realizing its transformational potential."
