TeleCommunication Systems Executives Plan Presentation at International CTIA Wireless 2011Mar 22, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- TeleCommunication Systems, a company involved in mobile communication technology, said that two of its executives will be speaking at International CTIA Wireless 2011 in Orlando, Florida on March 22 and March 23. Group Vice President of Location Products, Joe Hannan, will discuss "Location -- Beyond Check-ins and Directions," while Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Tim Lorello, will participate in the executive forum, "Deep Dive into Transportation." "Location - Beyond Check-ins and Directions" will be held March 22 from 12:30-1:45 p.m. ET at the Orange County Convention Center S220 F, Orlando, Florida. Joe Hannan and panelists will discuss how carriers and their application partners will leverage the emergence of 4G/LTE networks to meet increasing customer demands for location based services (LBS). The panel will examine the use of multi-mode location services and the role LBS will play in emergency and disaster situations. "Deep Dive into Transportation" will be held March 23 from 3:20-4:20 p.m. ET at the Orange County Convention Center S230 F, Orlando, Florida. Tim Lorello and forum executives will focus on the challenges to machine-to-machine (M2M) adoption in transportation, with emphasis on identifying the met and unmet needs of the sector.
